PTEN — Protein Sequence
Description
DNA is first copied into RNA, which is then translated into a chain of amino acids — the protein's sequence. This piece renders the protein sequence of PTEN, showing the chain of amino acids that will fold into the final functional structure.
It is the second panel in a three-part series following the journey of PTEN from code to structure — the central dogma of molecular biology made visible.
